Rainham Village Primary School and Nursery

Quality Education Meeting Individual Needs

School Uniform Policy

All children are expected to wear school uniform, as this helps to promote a feeling of being a part of the school community.  The uniform (except logo items) can be purchased in a variety of shops. Nursery children are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes for play (including water and sand play).  Many also choose to wear the school fleece to promote the sense of school community.

Logo items are available from the school. Alternatively plain maroon/burgundy sweatshirts/cardigans can be purchased in several stores. Order forms are available from the school office.  Orders, complete with payment (correct money or cheques only) must be handed into the office.

Second Hand Uniform

Please don’t throw out any uniform your child has outgrown.  Donate it to the school instead to help those less fortunate whilst also helping the environment. Over the course of the last academic year the school has been stockpiling uniform, however we may not hold all sizes as yet.

Second hand uniform will be sold towards the end of each term via a school uniform sale.  Should you need something before then please do not hesitate to contact the school.
