Quality Education Meeting Individual Needs

 School Aims and Vision

 Quality Education Meeting Individual Needs

Our school offers a welcoming, nurturing and supportive environment for all children and adults.

As a community we value, respect and celebrate the diversity of cultures, religions, beliefs and abilities.

 Every child is an individual.

We recognise the importance of developing social responsibility and tolerance within school and across

the local and global community as part of a multi-cultural society.

We aim to develop a partnership with parents and carers, encouraging their involvement in the education

 and well-being of their child.

At Rainham Village Primary School and Nursery we believe it is essential to develop positive relationships

between children and all adults, ensuring consistency of approach and reinforcing positive behaviour

through praise and reward. Children and adults have a voice in the school and have a right to be listened to.

We believe in the importance of fostering a life-long love of learning. We have a daily focus on Literacy

and Numeracy and enhance our broad and balanced curriculum by providing a range of memorable experiences.

We aim to enrich children’s experiences by ensuring opportunities to partake in both the Arts (including Art,

Literature and Drama and Music) from their own and other cultures and Science and Technology.

We recognise that all pupils learn at different rates and have a range of individual talents and abilities.

Learning is carefully planned to take this into account and ensure that each child develops confidence,

resilience, self-worth and works hard to achieve their best.

We believe that every child and adult should feel safe and be a confident, resilient member of society.
