Monday – Watch the video Ride of Passage. What is the message in this video – what is it trying to teach us? Tuesday – Describe a creature that you might find in the jungle – think of one that has not been discovered before and it needs to be huge! Describe it in detail and draw a picture of it as well. Wednesday/Thursday – Create a cartoon strip of the film clip – divide it into as many boxes as you need and think about the dialogue that you could include in it. Friday – Write a diary entry from the point of view of the little boy the night after he has met the animal. Think about how his feelings changed towards the creature as the day went on. What would he have written about it – would he be hoping that he met it again? Would he worry that it was caught by the rest of the tribe?
