Complete all activities & write your outcomes in your exercise book. Monday – Write a description of the setting for the story – how does the setting change during the story? Tuesday – How did the girl become trapped in the clock tower – was she sent there by an evil stepmother? Write the story leading up to the clip that you watch. Wednesday – What happens in the clip – what does the dancer discover happens when she leaves the clock tower? Write a diary entry giving all of your thoughts and feelings about what you have discovered. Thursday/Friday – How might the dancer be rescued? Write the next chapter of the story explaining who rescues her and how. Make sure you think about using adventurous vocabulary in your writing. GPS - what-are-relative-clauses? Read the information about relative clause and write 10 sentences of your own. Spellings- Read the information and explain the differences between a prefix and a suffix. Using 5 examples of each, write a short paragraph to include all of them. Guided Reading - During this week, read the text about Trepidation in the City of Aleppo and answer the vocabulary focused questions and the inference focused question. |
