English - Watch the video and complete the activities Monday – What do you think about the video clip – how did it make you feel? Why is this a valuable clip for everyone to watch? Tuesday – Why do you think mum bought her son a dog – what did she hope would happen? Why did she buy him a dog like this? Write a section of dialogue between Mum and the pet shop owner, perhaps she tells him why she wants that specific dog. Wednesday – Write a diary entry written by the boy the night after he gets the dog – what would he put in it – what emotions and feelings would he have? Thursday/ Friday – Rewrite the story but from the point of view of the dog – explain his feelings and emotions and what he is thinking. GPS - Read the information about the Perfect Tense and write 10 sentences. Spellings- Read the information about What are Homophones? and explain what they are. Using 10 of the pairs of examples given, to write a short paragraph to include all of them. Guided Reading - During this week, read the text about Banksy ‘A Work of Art?’ and answer the vocabulary focused questions and the inference focused question. |
