English - the-windrush-diary-writing Watch the video – Marshmallows. Monday – describe the monster and think about how he changes throughout the short video and appears to have two different personalities. Make sure you use adventurous adjectives and expanded noun phrases. Tuesday – create a storyboard showing the story from the video. Wednesday– think about a different ending that could have happen, rather than the boy managing to escape. Plan an alternative ending to the story. Thursday and Friday – write the story but his time with your alternative ending. GPS - grammar/expanded-noun-phrases Read the information and watch the video about Sparrowhawks and complete the activities about expanded noun phrases. Spellings - wonderful-words-silent-letters Watch the video. List as many word you can think of with silent letters, you can choose some from the video and create fun sentences on how to remember the spellings. Guided Reading - treasure-island-comprehension During this week, read the text about Treasure Island and answer the vocabulary focused questions and the inference focused question. Complete all activities & write your outcomes in your exercise book. |
